Starting 2/3, all of my new CAD models will only be uploaded to Printables.
Forms are a set of eight player controlled characters in Folding Fury, each of them having different characteristics and unique mechanics.
Players spawn in the "Unfolded" form in every level, with the exception of the prologue, in which players spawn in the "Airplane" form.
Players can switch between different forms in a level by pressing the key bound to the form. Each form has a delay associated with folding and unfolding, which can be reduced by upgrading the Folding Speed attribute.
During gameplay, each form responds to the player's controls and are the core of the gameplay with the following properties:
Forms constantly attack in front of them with attack rate, damage, and angle varying across different forms
Forms have health set as a percentage of the Maximum Health attribute, and regenerate health while idling.
Forms can collect dropped loot, such as paperclips and cards, by coming in contact with them
Forms can collect diamonds by coming in contact with them.
Every form is available at the start of the game without needing to unlock them. Upgrades done to attributes, both in game and in the menu, affect all forms. The table below shows all the forms, as well as their attributes and uses.
During form changes, three frames of animation play to transform the current form into the unfolded form, and then to the newly selected form.
Folding removes any speed debuffs associated with hazards.
While folding, the current form is maintained until the new form takes shape.
The order of the forms and folding time is based on the order the developer, Alex Li, learned to fold all of these shapes.
